All MSBA sections, both online and in-person, are Univ+(UWW) in SPIRE. Review the course notes to determine that the section is open to MSBA students.

Newton students beginning in Summer should enroll in online sections.

International Students ending in Summer need to enroll in in-person classes. Contact advisor to confirm requirements.

If you are completing degree requirements this Summer, please refer to the Graduating Student Resource Page for next steps after enrollment in final coursework.

Review your Degree Plan: Review the MSBA Curriculum page to review course descriptions, sample plans, and the Degree Requirement Checklist. Review the Browse All Courses page to check the finalized course list, sections and syllabi for the upcoming semester (make sure to filter by appropriate term – only use this filter for best results).

Check for Holds: Before registration opens, make sure there are no holds or restrictions on your student account. Login to SPIRE and click on the Tasks & Help Tile on your Student Center. If you encounter any issues, please address them promptly by contacting the appropriate department.

Meet with your Academic Advisor: If you have any questions or need guidance on course selection, consider scheduling a meeting with your academic advisor. They can provide valuable insights to help you make informed decisions.

Use Registration Resources: Review the SPIRE Enrollment Instructions for further assistance.

Set Reminders: Registration can be a busy time, so set reminders for yourself regarding the registration opening date and any specific deadlines related to your courses.

Fall and Spring are mandatory semesters. If you are not planning on registering for courses for this semester, you must enroll in Continuous Enrollment to keep your student status active. The Class Number for Continuous Enrollment is found in the Schedule of Classes under GRADSCH 999. There is a $285.00 fee associated with Continuous Enrollment.

Last day to Add/Drop with no record: Wednesday, February 14th
Last day to drop with “DR”/50% tuition refund: Thursday, April 4th
Last Day of Classes: Friday, May 10th

Login to SPIRE and click on the Tasks & Help Tile on your Student Center. Review any Holds that may prevent you from enrolling. Examples include:
- Bursar Holds
- Financial Agreement
- Advising Hold (pending deposit)

Winter 2024 MSBA Enrollment Information

Winter is an optional online-only term. Students are not required to enroll.
