- Make sure all holds are cleared: If you have a hold on your record/account in SPIRE, this could prevent registration. To view a hold, log into SPIRE, look on the right side of the screen on your Student Services Center page under "Holds".

Important note:
Beginning this semester, you will begin to see "UWW" courses listed as "U+" in Spire.
Steps for Enrolling in Summer 2023 Courses
- Make sure all holds are cleared. If you have a hold on your record/account in SPIRE, this could prevent registration. To view a hold, log into SPIRE, look on the right side of the screen on your Student Services Center page under "Holds".
- New Students: You must accept the Financial Responsibility Agreement before being enrolled in summer classes. Please log into SPIRE to accept the agreement and notify me when it is completed. You can find more information on the Bursar’s Office FAQs Page.
- Course descriptions and syllabi are available on the MSA Browse Courses page.
- Registration is done through SPIRE. Login to SPIRE to select and register for courses.
- If you need more help, join the advising team for a summer registration session or schedule an appointment with your advisor.

Important Semester Dates to Note for Summer 2023
March 13 - Enrollment began
May 23 - Preview week for courses begins.
May 30 – First day of summer classes
June 5 - Last day to Drop with 100% tuition refund (class fees only) for matriculated students
July 10 - Last day to late Drop through advisor and instructor with 50% tuition refund (class fees only)
August 8 – Last day of 10-week summer classes*
August 17 - Deadline to submit Degree Eligibility Form to advisor for those students graduating September 1, 2023
August 31 - Grades appear on transcripts.
*With the exception of SCH-MGMT 601, SCH-MGMT 604 and SCH-MGMT 610, all MSA summer classes will be 10-weeks long. If you are enrolled in one of the 3 classes listed that are not 10 weeks, be sure you are aware of important dates.

Mandatory Graduation Requirement
If you are taking your last class during the summer term, your degree eligibility form should be emailed to your advisor no later than August 17, 2023 to be included in graduation. Please list all classes in the order taken along with grades (leave grades blank for classes in progress). Be sure you receive a confirmation receipt by our office.

• Interested in completing a focus in forensic accounting, data analytics, or taxation? Talk with your advisor. Completing a focus is optional but can enhance your skill set and set you apart.
