The breadth and depth of our industry relations enable our students to begin their careers in the industry segment that best fits their passion and competencies.
Quality & Dedication
The quality of our department is reflected in our exceptional record of placement, the success of our graduates, and the ongoing support of our network 3000+ alumni who currently work in the sport industry. All students have free access to this online alumni database. Additionally, we maintain a subscription to TeamworkOnline.com (the country’s leading job posting site) that provides complimentary access for all students; over the past four years no sport management program has placed more undergraduate and graduate students in fulltime jobs via TeamworkOnline than our program. Our entire faculty is dedicated to helping our students prepare for the job search, locate jobs and shape their careers.
In terms of job opportunities, the strength of our program is its access to positions in a broad range of sport industry segments, including professional sports teams and leagues, collegiate athletics, sponsorship consulting and event management firms, sporting goods manufacturers and sport research and analytics firms. This breadth and depth of our industry relations enable our students to begin their careers in the industry segment that best fits their passion and competencies. Over the past 4 years, our placement rate into full-time sport industry positions within 3 months of graduation is 92%, with a starting average salary of $48,000.
