The Minutemen Fixed Income Fund (MFIF) is an exclusive student-run investment fund focused on high yield corporate bonds. It aims to provide hands-on experience in the fixed-income market for undergraduate students through several credit pitches each semester as well as tri-weekly meetings featuring credit lessons, Bloomberg terminal lessons, financial modeling lessons, and market discussions. Each MFIF analyst is assigned to a specific sector in which they research a company's high yield corporate bonds and develop credit reports utilizing SEC filings, earnings calls, and three statement modeling in order to create investment theses and present these recommendations to peers.
