TSS offers remote access virtual computer labs to Faculty, Staff, and students. In addition, Faculty, Staff & PhD's may access our statistical workstations, which are server-based systems that have large amounts of CPU and Memory resources.

How to connect:

Using the HTML interface (supported):

Using the VMware Horizon Client (unsupported):
- Install the Horizon View Client (link here) on your personal computer.
- The name of the server you're connecting to is: desktop.isenberg.umass.edu.

Faculty/Staff

How to log in:

You may follow the student instructions, above, to access the systems via a web-browser
Using your managed PC, you can launch the "VMware Horizon Client" found on your Start Menu. This is preconfigured to connect.
You can install the Horizon View Client (link here) on your personal computer. This is not supported by TSS.
- You will need to be connected to the UMass/Isenberg VPN, otherwise, you'll get a blank screen when trying to connect.
- The name of the server you're connecting to is: desktop.isenberg.umass.edu.
