Studying marketing at Isenberg has helped students master the crafts of analytics, research, and narrative-building that connect consumers with products, services, and points of view. Our students learn to weave powerful stories and mine and analyze data in their support. And drawing on our extensive alumni and industry networks, they begin their own stories of personal success.

Marketing students, we believe, must be “Renaissance” people who dissect trends and behavior in an increasingly complex, high-tech, and disruptive business world. To that end, we encourage our students to embrace a wealth of resources—multiple disciplines on our research-rich UMass Amherst campus, Isenberg’s 48,000+ alumni network, and our own cutting-edge faculty.
The engine of our undergraduate and graduate programs is our faculty, who excel nationally in research and in the classroom. Their national footprint encompasses consumer behavior, social media, sales management, and public policy, including healthcare and privacy.
