General Business Studies Certificate for Head Start
Undergraduate Online Certificate
Through a partnership with the Office of Head Start, Isenberg is offering an undergraduate-level general business studies certificate that incorporates Head Start case management examples. This customized program will focus on issues most commonly faced by Head Start managerial and financial personnel with five online courses. This certificate emphasizes accounting, finance, and non-profit grant management.
This certificate will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to create and manage budgets, identify business opportunities, and understand financial decisions. Lessons on effective management systems and philosophies are embedded in real-world situations, using Head Start case studies to illustrate Head Start fiscal regulations and requirements.
Earn your certificate in five, three-credit courses in management and finance (15 credits total) online. Students generally complete their coursework in two years. All of the certificate courses must be taken online through Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst.

Certificate classes are $472.50 per credit, or $1412.50 per course (discount included). There is a $47 registration fee per semester, plus the cost of books and materials.
