The International Student Success Series offers an exciting line up of events happening this fall, designed specifically for the international students of Isenberg! These events provide a variety of social, cultural and professional activities that will help you succeed in the United States.

Friday, February 2, 3:00-4:00 PM (Rm. 128) Resume Writing Workshop with the Chase Career Center
Your resume is your personal marketing tool, and as one of the most important aspects of your professional brand, allows you to showcase your education, employment, skills and activities to potential employers. This workshop will outline what types of information to include and in what format, and will leave you feeling confident that your skills and abilities are showcased effectively. In order to conduct this workshop, a minimum of 5 students must register.
Friday, February 9, 3:00-4:00 PM (Rm. 128) OPT workshop for 2018 Graduates
Attention graduating international students! Ken Reade, Director of International Student & Scholar Services in the International Programs Office (IPO), will discuss the guidelines and application strategies for working in the US upon graduation. Ken will highlight a variety of employment scenarios in order to best utilize your work authorization under Optional Practical Training (OPT). This workshop is open to all international students who plan to graduate in Spring and Summer 2018. Please come and bring your questions! In order to conduct this workshop, a minimum of 5 students must register.
Friday, March 2, 1:15- 2:30 PM (Rm. 128) Developing Intercultural Communication Awareness (FREE PIZZA will be provided)!
This workshop will explore the dynamics of intercultural communication. Through discussion and activities, it will prepare you for overcoming communication barriers due to cultural differences and help you become more confident speakers of English as an additional language.
Presented by Andrea Dallas (Director) and Pamela Shea (Faculty), ESL Program.
In order to conduct this workshop, a minimum of 8 students must register.
Monday, April 23, 5:30-6:30 PM (Rm. 128) Study Break: Pizza & Trivia!
Take a break from your studies and join us in GAME NIGHT! This is a fun social event which brings together international and domestic students. De-stress and de-compress before finals. Pizza will be provided!
