Apply for a Facebook Externship through Paragon One!
Interested in engaging in a part-time, remote, 6-week externship opportunity with Facebook this spring?
Facebook's Global Marketing Solutions team is launching a first-of-its-kind remote externship program in partnership with Paragon One! These remote externships are experiential learning programs that will give students the chance to work in different areas of the company. Projects are unpaid and may involve market mapping, case studies and trends, lead generation, and/or content marketing.
Student benefits are below:
No prerequisite experience required
Students receive mentorship & training throughout the program
Chance to build real work experience over 6 weeks and become more employable
Flexible during the school year and requires a lower time commitment than traditional internships
Students earn rewards, online credentials, and certificates to boost resumes
Opportunity for students to build pathways into Facebook's recruiting pipeline
Remote externships include feedback and assessment of student work
Isenberg juniors and seniors of all majors, and MBA students, are encouraged to apply for the Facebook externship via this Isenberg-specific APPLICATION LINK. The deadline to apply is May 7th and the projects themselves will kick off on May 24th.
Facebook's Global Marketing Solutions teams will be working directly with Paragon One to create and facilitate a number of remote externships throughout 2021, and Isenberg students will be invited to apply for all of them. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact Melissa Salva, Isenberg's Director of Employer Engagement. We hope you will take advantage of this fabulous opportunity!

Access IsenbergWorks and Handshake to Apply
UMass/Isenberg will not host any on-campus interviews during the 2020-2021 academic year - all interviews will take place virtually.
Students are encouraged to regularly access both IsenbergWorks AND Handshaketo apply for jobs, internships, and virtual interviews.
Interview processes and virtual connection instructions will vary by firm, so be sure to monitor your email for specific details. For example, in some cases, the employer will schedule the interview slots on their end, while in others, Chase will handle interview scheduling via IsenbergWorks. However, in every case, the employer will make virtual connection arrangements on their end and communicate those arrangements to interview candidates.
Also note that UMass Career Services and the Chase Career Center are encouraging employers to utilize technological and phone methods to interview job candidates in place of in-person office interviews until Covid19 safety precautions are lifted. This recommendation is in accordance with The UMass Amherst Community Safety Agreement for Students, which supports limiting off-campus travel as much as possible.
Please contact Melissa Salva, Director of Employer Engagement, with any questions about the interview process.
