Fall 2024 Isenberg Induction for New First-Year and Transfer Students

Can any new Isenberg first-year or transfer student attend?

• The Fall 2024 Isenberg Induction is intended for first-year and transfer students who began their academic career at UMass Amherst Fall 2024.

Can I still register to attend the 3:30 p.m. or the 5 p.m. Induction once the RSVP form is closed?

• Yes! After 12:00 p.m. on October 21, please email us at undergrad@isenberg.umass.edu and provide your name, your email, student name, student’s email, and the number of people in your party (including student).

Will a Reception be offered?

• Families and students attending the 3:30 p.m. Induction should plan to attend the 2:45 p.m. Reception. Families and students attending the 5 p.m. Induction should plan to attend the 4:15 p.m. Induction. Due to space limitations, we can only accommodate guests based on the Induction they have RSVP’d to attend. Thank you for your understanding.

Is seating reserved?

• Seating is first come, first serve in the Student Union Ballroom. Guests will be able to enter the Student Union Ballroom starting 20 minutes prior to each Induction.

Where should we park?

• Guests are encouraged to utilize the Campus Center Parking Garage, 91 Campus Center Way (GPS for parking garage). Clearance is 7’ 2”.

Where should my family park for ADA parking?

• The Parking Garage is the closest parking option to access the Student Union. ADA parking, with a ramp leading to the exit of the garage, is available on Level 3.

Is this event free?

• Yes, the Fall 2024 Isenberg Induction, and the Reception, is a free event.

I RSVP’d for my family, should I receive a ticket?

• Thank you for RSVP’ing! This is a non-ticketed event. Students will check in upon arrival in the Student Union.

How should my family and I dress for this event?

• Please dress for the weather and your comfort!
