1st Annual Isenberg School of Management Finance Conference

The Department of Finance at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst, is delighted to host the 1st Annual Isenberg School of Management Finance Conference on Friday, May 9, 2025.

We are pleased to invite submissions from all areas of finance for consideration for presentation. There is a $60 USD fee per submitted paper – please fill out the form linked here no later than February 1, 2025. Papers will be reviewed and accepted papers will be notified by late February 2025.

Keynote Speaker

Bryan Kelly

Bryan Kelly is the Frederick Frank ’54 and Mary C. Tanner Professor of Finance at the Yale School of Management and Head of Machine Learning at AQR Capital Management. He is also a Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Associate Director of Yale SOM’s International Center for Finance. Professor Kelly’s primary research fields are asset pricing, machine learning, and financial econometrics.

Conference Details

The conference will be a full-day event held at the University of Massachusetts Amherst on Friday, May 9, 2025. For presenters and discussants, we will cover the cost of up to two nights' accommodation at the conference hotel.

To Submit a Paper

There is a $60 USD fee per submitted paper. To submit a paper, please complete the online form linked above and make your payment by February 1, 2025. If you are submitting multiple papers, please complete this process separately for each submission. Submitted papers will be reviewed by members of the conference program committee, and authors of accepted papers will be notified by late February 2025.
