Student Networks

At the Isenberg School of Management, students learn, network, and relax outside the classroom through professional and social activities. Student networks are excellent resources: they provide opportunities for MBA colleagues to gain business experience while making strong, life-long bonds.

Graduate Business Association:

GBA is the official student organization of the Isenberg MBA Program. Officers are chosen in the second semester of the first year of study and serve for one year. Whether you are interested in becoming an officer or a member, this organization is an ideal way to work closely with classmates promoting social and volunteer activities, arranging professional trips to business located in major cities, social events, and building relationships outside the classroom. The GBA also hosts Thursday Night Out (TNO) where students gather and enjoy the many dining and drinking establishments in the Pioneer Valley. This time spent together allows for quality social time spent building relationships that will last well beyond the years of graduate study! For more information about GBA click here.

Net Impact:

Net Impact is a diverse community of graduate students dedicated to using the power of business to make a positive net social, environmental, and economic impact. The mission of Net Impact and the UMass Amherst Chapter is to inspire, educate, and equip individuals to use the power of business to create a more socially and environmentally sustainable world.  Officers and members engage in events and community outreach in order to achieve our goals and make the world a better place. MBA Women International:

MBA Women International is a professional development club for Isenberg students, providing career support and raising awareness of the unique issues and challenges facing women in the workplace. To this end, we create programming for members to network with women in the extended Isenberg and UMass communities: alumnae, faculty and Isenberg graduate and undergraduate women. We host panel discussions to address academic and career challenges in a supportive environment, and we offer service events as a way for Isenberg women to give back to the broader community of Western Massachusetts.
