Isenberg Grad Is Featured Entrepreneur
June 22, 2011
Michael Lerner, a 1976 Isenberg graduate in management, was one of four entrepreneurs featured in a recent Wall Street Journal article, After the One-Hit Wonder. In 1984, Michael founded Safety 1st, the child safety firm that popularized the ubiquitous Baby on Board auto signs. Under Michael's leadership, Safety 1st introduced a full line of child safety products that included booster seats, bed rails, and bath tubs. Named Isenberg's Alumnus of the Year in 2003, Michael sold the firm in 2000. Read about Safety 1st and Michael's new start-up, True Power, here.
