Application Requirements
The part-time Online BBA Degree Completion Program is designed for those who have an Associate's degree or 60 college credits, work, family or other commitments that make it difficult to attend classes on the Amherst campus.
Applicants who have at least 60 college level credits and maintained a 2.5 or higher GPA may be potential students.
While a 2.5 GPA is our minimum requirement, to be competitive, applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, are in a better position for admission.
We look for a B or better in predictor coursework, which should be completed upon applying; college writing, calculus, microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, and Financial Accounting as well as gen-ed completion especially physical science.
Predictor coursework is used to determine your ability to perform in our upper-level business course requirements.
Macroeconomics, microeconomics and statistics are not offered online through UMA. Online options are available from Tania Fuller.
Financial Aid
A degree-status student enrolled in at least six credits during a semester may be eligible for a subsidized or unsubsidized loan. U.S. citizens and resident aliens applying for aid may submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( FAFSA ) form to the appropriate processing center. For specific aid information, please contact Marianna McKim at 413.545.3353 or at marianna@finaid.umass.edu. Another great resource is the Continuing & Professional Education Financial Aid Website.
