José Barzola serves as an Academic Advisor in the Isenberg School. He is also a Liaison to the Isenberg Student Clubs and Organizations. Before Isenberg, José worked as an Admissions Representative for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Connecticut (UConn).

José received his Dual Bachelor Degree's in Anthropology, Spanish, and an Individualized Major in Latino Studies and his Master's Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs at UConn. While at UConn he was an active member in Summer Orientation, TRIO programs, Undergraduate Student Government, and the Cultural Centers. Currently, José continues to focus on issues of diversity, identity, and multiculturalism in Higher Education.
