Admissions into the Isenberg School of Management is administered through the University Undergraduate Admissions Office. Students may enter the Isenberg School as freshmen or as external transfer students.
High school students applying to the University of Massachusetts Amherst who want to be considered for the Isenberg School should list their intended major on their Common Application to the University. Please review the Checklist for Freshmen Applicants to assist in the application process.
Transfer student applicants to the Isenberg School need to have completed a basic core of courses prior to applying. These courses include Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Calculus, and Accounting. Please utilize the Checklist for Transfer Applicants to assist in the application process. Prospective transfer students can also utilize the UMass Amherst Community College Connection which is especially designed for community college graduates who participated in a Joint Admissions or MassTransfer program at a Massachusetts community college.
What you should know about applying to the Isenberg School of Management
The Isenberg School offers seven academic disciplines and two degree programs providing a multitude of course and degree options:
Bachelor of Buisiness Administration (BBA):
- Operations & Information Management
Please select one of these majors or Business as your first choice intended major if you wish to pursue a BBA degree. Admitted students will choose a major their 2nd semester of freshmen year.
Bachelor of Science (BS)
- Hospitality & Tourism Management
- Sport Management
Please select one of these programs as your first choice intended major if you wish to pursue a BS degree. Students are admitted directly into these majors as incoming freshmen.
