AH&LA: American Hotel & Lodging Association UMass Amherst Student Chapter
Serving the hospitality industry for nearly a century, the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) is the sole national association representing all sectors and stakeholders in the lodging industry, including individual hotel property members, hotel companies, student and faculty members, and industry suppliers.
As a Student Member, you're part of an 11,000-person (and growing) network of industry executives and invited to attend AH&LA conferences and events, where you can meet these potential employers face-to-face.
We also arm you with the latest hospitality news, information, and educational resources, so that you can stay on top of the trends and best practices of the industry and set yourself apart from the competition when graduation day finally arrives.
The American Hotel and Lodging Association, AH&LA, strives to provide club members with the opportunity to gain insights into the hospitality industry by creating interactions with industry professionals, and by conducting site visits to resorts, hotels, and industry functions. Through networking with hotel operators, and by working together with other students interested in the hospitality industry, students can begin to develop their own network of connections as they learn more about their futures.
