Parking

Traffic on and around campus will be heavy.  Please plan to arrive on campus by 8:00 a.m.  Isenberg Seniors and their guests are encouraged to park at Lots 25 and 12.  These lots are located near the Mullins Center.  Limited handicapped parking is available at the Mullins Center.  For more information about handicapped parking please visit the Accessibility website for the Mullins Center to obtain further information.  Shuttle bus service is available on Saturday in the event you have not parked in the lots near the Mullins Center.

  

Isenberg Seniors 

Please arrive at the Mullins Center by 8:00 a.m.  You will assemble with members of your major.*  You must arrive in your cap and gown.  Caps and gowns will not be available to you at the Mullins Center on Saturday, May 11.

 

While with members of your major you will be instructed by an Isenberg commencement volunteer to write your name and email address on a name card.  This card will be used to announce your name as you are introduced on stage to receive your medal. 

 

*If you are a double major/dual degree, you are free to choose whichever major you wish to march with.

 

                      IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ISENBERG SENIORS

 

Family Members and Guests

Doors will open at the Mullins Center at 8:00 a.m.  The Isenberg Senior Celebration will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.  Tickets are not required and any number of guests may attend.  Please enter using the main doors located on the north end of the building.  You may select any seat in the arena.  Large video screens will enable you to see from any seat in the arena your graduate process and receive his or her commemorative medal.

 

Please note: Balloons are not permitted in the Mullins Center. 

Processional Information

Students processing with the following departments will be seated along the west side of the arena (T-X): Management, Accounting, Resource Economics, and Sport Management.

Students processing with the following departments will be seated along the east side of arena (H-D): Marketing, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Operations & Information Management, and Finance.

 

Senior Celebration Schedule

8:00 a.m.    Mullins Center Doors Open

9:00 a.m.    Isenberg Senior Celebration begins

 

Isenberg Senior Class Processional begins.  Welcome and Congratulations to the Isenberg Class of 2013.  Following the Welcome each Isenberg senior will be individually recognized on stage and will receive a commemorative UMass Amherst medal.  Each student will also be photographed by professional photographers as the medal is received and the student is congratulated.

 

10:30 a.m.  The Isenberg Senior Celebration concludes
