M.S. in Sport Management

As one of the first Sport Management Programs in the country, the University of Massachusetts draws on 35 years of experience in Sport Management education to offer a 35-credit Masters of Science Degree program. Students take 29 credits of course work over the Fall and Spring semesters of one academic year.

To earn the additional 6 credits, students have three options:

1. Complete a six credit internship with a sport organization OR
2. Complete two additional Sport Management electives OR
3. Complete a Master's Thesis
