Financial Aid & Student Loans
Students can apply for direct-to-consumer student loans.
Because this is not in a degree granting program, students are not eligible for financial aid.
However, you may be eligible for a direct-to-consumer alternative loan. These private loans do not require school certification, and proceeds are paid directly to the borrower. Specify to the lender that you are applying for a direct-to-consumer loan or that you will be taking Continuing Education classes.
Read additional information about student loans, including lender names and contact information.
UMass Amherst does not endorse any individual alternative loan - you should compare programs and choose those that best fit your needs.
