Isenberg Professor Comments on Credit Card Debt

Branch, a professor of finance at Isenberg who teaches courses
in investments and banking, told Channel 22 News in Springfield that the recent
surge in credit card debt may have a silver lining for the economy. "Spending
more using credit actually does help create jobs, it does help the economy as
long as it doesn't get to a point where it's not sustainable," observed Branch
on a recent news cast.
