Isenberg Lecturer Leads Pledge against Violence
February 9, 2012
Stephen Jefferson, a
lecturer in the Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management at the
Isenberg School of Management, administered a pledge against violence toward
women during halftime at the UMass-St Bonaventure men's basketball game on
February 8th. Over 100 male students followed Jefferson by taking the
pledge, a key initiative in "Stand up and Be Counted," the 4th
annual UMass Amherst White Ribbon Campaign against violence toward women.

UMass men (including Chancellor Robert Holub, third from right) made an on-court pledge yesterday to help end domestic violence against women.
