Isenberg Launches Boston-based Executive Suite Strategy Courses

In September, Isenberg will launch three innovative courses from its new Executive Suite portfolio of classes in Management Strategy. Developed and taught by leading educators and practitioners, each blended course will include five weekly meetings-three face-to-face gatherings at the University of Massachusetts Club in Boston alternating with two online sessions. The in-person classes, at 5 p.m., include a light dinner and networking opportunities.


The courses, noted below, will emphasize peer interaction, the exchange of ideas, and real-world challenges with immediately implementable solutions:



"Our decision to launch the Executive Suite portfolio and to locate it in Boston follows from extensive marketing research, including in-depth discussions with alumni and our corporate partners," observes Isenberg's dean, Mark Fuller. "Participants can take as many or as few offerings as they choose; there's no commitment to a degree or certificate program," he explains.


This new portfolio of courses is part of the Isenberg Online MBA, which supplements online learning with in-person components for those students who enjoy a face-to-face experience. The Executive Suite, also a blended offering, alternates weekly online sessions with gatherings over dinner at the UMass Club. The club venue offers unique opportunities for exposure to multiple perspectives, robust discussions, and networking.


"The Executive Suite's common denominator focuses on leaders and future leaders in executive strategic roles," notes Fuller. "That covers considerable ground-students in our online MBA program who aspire to expand their strategic skills and networks, alumni who want to brush up and sharpen their skill sets, and executives in the Boston business community-with or without an MBA degree-who want to become more adept in state-of-the -art strategic topics."
