Trista Ristvedt

Trista graduated from Syracuse University with a dual degree in Advertising and Psychology. She then spent several years managing and consulting in the hospitality industry in national parks, including four years working for a certified B Corporation. These experiences inspired her to pursue an MBA, and she is currently a Full-Time student at UMass Amherst. Trista is interested in social enterprise, sustainable business practices and conservation.

Joe is a first-year student who is also working on completing his Masters in Accounting. As a generalist, he enjoys a wide variety of topics in business including risk management, supply chain management, operations, finance, and accounting. His hope is to help corporations find cost effective solutions that are socially and environmentally responsible.

William Luff

William Luff is a first year MBA candidate interested in pursuing a career in East Asia. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Thai. One of his ambitions is to help businesses in East Asian countries become environmentally sustainable.

David is currently a Board Fellow at Amherst for a Better Chance, a non-for-profit organization devoted to educational equity. He is interested in social media, video editing, music composition and branding. His hope is to utilize media as a channel for good in order to raise awareness about different social issues.

Her professional interest lies at the intersection of business and sustainability. She believes that striving for a positive global impact in sustainable development is a long term advantageous strategy for any enterprise. In the future she plans to work on international development, linking investors to projects that improve the overall quality of supply chains, ensuring that human rights are protected and that natural resources are used responsibly.

Lisbeth Pacheco

Lisbeth is passionate about education and about exploring the power of business to solve the global challenges of poverty and hunger. A native from Guatemala, she hopes to be able to make a difference in the lives of others who also grew up in Latin America, but were not as fortunate. She received a Bachelor of Science on Agro-industrial Engineering from Zamorano University (Honduras) in 2004, a Master of Science in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Florida in 2006, and a Ph.D. in Food Science from Texas A&M University in 2009. She worked at PepsiCo's Research & Development Department for 3.5 years prior to starting her MBA at Isenberg in 2012.
