MBA Women International (MBA WI) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering female business professionals to propel more women into leadership positions in corporate America and to enhance the diversity of the nation's workforce.  Its focus is on the development of early to mid-career stage professionals.  You do not have to be a woman to join, just a supporter of women empowerment in the business world.  There are two non-exclusive membership options:

1. MBA WI, National Student Membership:

Under this level of membership, you will have access to the benefits of belonging to MBA WI, National at the student rate. These include: 
     -invitations to MBA WI National events (including the National Conference/Career Fair, where you can register at the student rate)
     -access to the MBA WI Career Board
     -one year subscription to Business Week 

To join the national chapter, visit: http://www.mbawomen.org/ membership and click on "Join as a Student Member." There is a $30 fee. 

2.MBA WI, UMass Amherst Membership:
This level of membership is for those who would like to join at the local level.  Benefits of local membership include:
    -inclusion/chapter-level discounts to local sponsored events 
     (e.g. career development panels, Rays of Hope Walk, and apple picking) 
    -access to chapter funds to subsidize club-sponsored conferences/professional development events 
     (e.g. the Dynamic Women Conference at Harvard). 

To sign up for the local chapter, contact our chapter president Michelle LaBoda (mlaboda@som.umass.edu).  Once the email has been confirmed, you will be asked to mail a $15 check, payable to "Graduate Women in Business" to:
