How To Register for Courses

IMPORTANT - As an active OAUG member, you are eligible to receive a substantial discount on online course costs.  In order to receive this discount, you must identify yourself as an OAUG member at the time of registration, regardless of what method of registration is used.

 

Registration for all Part-Time MBA courses is processed through UMass Amherst Continuing & Professional Education (CPE). Registration can be completed several ways - online, phone, fax, in-person, or via SPIRE.

Online: use the links to the left to choose your courses and register with UMass Continuing & Professional Education.

 

 

SPIRE: only matriculated students in the Part-Time MBA program (those formally accepted) are eligible to register for Part-Time MBA courses (excluding the Foundations of Business course) using SPIRE.

Non-degree students should choose the other available registration options (online, phone, fax, or in-person).

Please be aware that registration via surface mail can delay your registration significantly as the University mail system can be slow. We strongly recommend registering online as classes fill quickly.

 

How to confirm that you're registered for a course?

 

How do I find out if I'm registered? You can check to see if your registration has been confirmed on the SPIRE Web site at spire.umass.edu. Registration confirmation will not be mailed to you. What's SPIRE? SPIRE is the UMass Amherst Student Information System. It gives you direct online access to administrative data such as class schedules, grades, billing information and financial aid status. To find out more about SPIRE and how to access, click here.   I haven't received my registration confirmation yet. While registrations are generally processed within one business day of receipt, during our busiest registration periods, your registration may take up to 5 business days to process. If your registration does not show up on SPIRE after 5 business days or you are a new student and you have not received SPIRE access information after 5 business days, please contact the Continuing & Professional Education Records and Registration office at regoff@contined.umass.edu.  Please provide your name, phone, SPIRE ID (returning students) and what class you requested.   NOTE: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
