  • The corporate sales offices of Black and Decker (household appliances),

  • GlaxoSmithKline (pharmaceuticals),

  • Filenes (as a clothing buyer). Students interested in both marketing and administration often start off in these sales offices and move up to marketing management responsibilities.

  • TJX

  • Others opt for careers in advertising. A 2001 graduate now works as a broadcast media buyer for a division of Young & Rubicam Inc.

  • A 2000 graduate now works at Protocol Marketing—a smaller full-service marketing agency. She reports working on all aspects of marketing from the planning to production.

  • We have recent graduates working at Market Research Agencies (IRI)

  • Direct Marketing Companies (Time Life) and

  • Nonprofit organizations.

  • One graduate has combined profit and nonprofit interests by working as a retail visual merchandiser for the Museum of Fine Arts.
