Background Information:
Professor Chan conducts research both in adoption of innovations among consumers, and development of knowledge within firms. In consumers the focus is upon how new technology can be packaged to provide new benefit with minimal adjustment on the part of the customer. In firms Kwong's focus is upon managing product development in a way that allows new insights to effectively be combined with existing processes.
