Logan International Airport (Boston) is 90 miles to the east. Valley Transporter (800-872-8752) provides transportation service from both airports to Amherst.

Peter Pan Bus Lines (800-343-9999) serves Amherst.
The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (413-586-5806) is free locally during the school year.

BY CAR

From the East (Boston area) via the Massachusetts Turnpike.

• Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) west to Exit 4 (I-91, W. Springfield).
  
• Take I-91 north to Exit 19 (Route 9, Northampton).
  
• Bear right (east) on Route 9 and go approximately 4.5 miles to
  
• Route 116 North (left turn at the lights) for 1 mile to the UMass exit.
  
• Take a right at the top of the exit ramp onto Massachusetts Avenue.
  
• Stay on Massachusetts Avenue through the light and up the hill.
  
• The Visitors Center, where parking is available, is on your right.
  
• The Isenberg School of Management is on the Haigis Mall across from the Visitors Center and Massachusetts Avenue.

From the South.

• Take I-91 north to Exit 19 (Route 9, Northampton).
  
• Bear right (east) on Route 9 and go approximately 4.5 miles to
  
• Route 116 North (left turn at the lights) 1 mile to UMass exit.
  
• Take a right at the top of the exit ramp onto Massachusetts Avenue.

From the West.

• At the end of the ramp turn left and follow the road to the intersection.
  
• Turn right onto Routes 5 and 10 South.
  
• Go 1 mile, then left onto Route 116 South, then 8 miles to UMass exit.
  
• Take a left at the top of the exit ramp onto Massachusetts Avenue.
  
• Stay on Massachusetts Avenue through the light and up the hill.
  
• The Visitors Center, where parking is available, is on your right.
