Thu., May 8, 2008
In a national survey of business graduate school programs for physician-executives conducted by Modern Healthcare magazine, the UMass Amherst Isenberg School of Management's Online Part-Time MBA program ranked 12th in the nation. The program, which is offered entirely online, also achieved a #1 ranking for the fewest number of required days that students must spend on campus and ranked #5 for lowest total tuition cost. The Isenberg School MBA program emphasizes a core MBA curriculum and is offered entirely online. Students can also take classes at three satellite campuses in Massachusetts.

Eric Berkowitz, Associate Dean for Professional Programs at the UMass Amherst Isenberg School of management noted, "We have found our Online MBA program to be a very attractive model to meet the demands of the extremely busy life of today's practicing physicians. Since the inception of our program, our faculty has become particularly skilled in online teaching and our national rankings continuously reflect the value they bring to practitioners in all realms of the ever-changing and complex health care world."

The UMass Amherst Isenberg School's Online Part-Time MBA is also ranked 5th in the Northeast and 29th in the Nation by BusinessWeek's 2007 Top Part-Time MBA Programs rankings.
