Isenberg graduates made their mark in ceremonies and celebrations on Commencement weekend, May 9-10. Isenberg graduates included 1,014 seniors, 370 MBA students, and 12 Ph.D. candidates.

Isenberg Awards Banquet Celebrates Students, Alumni, & the School's High-Energy Culture

Isenberg's annual Awards Banquet on April 29 at the Log Cabin Meeting House in Holyoke was a celebration of stellar students and the generous alumni and friends who helped create scholarships for 190 of them. If you include scholarships awarded at Isenberg's accounting banquet on April 18 and its Mark H. McCormack Sport Management banquet on May 1, Isenberg alumni and friends funded $305,000 in scholarships this year.

Elmont Award Dinner Honors Hospitality Alumni, Supports Scholarships

The Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management's annual Stephen Elmont Award Dinner on April 23 at the Boston Harbor Hotel recognized leaders in the hospitality industry and raised more than $100,000 toward student scholarships. This year's winner of the prestigious Elmont Award was Paul Carbone '88, Chief Financial Officer of Dunkin' Brands.

Isenberg and UMass Amherst Campus Energized by TEDx Talks

Isenberg and its students played a major role in UMass Amherst's first-ever TEDx (Technology, Entertainment, Design) UMass Amherst Talks, held at Mahar Auditorium and Isenberg on April 13. Inspired by the well-established national and regional TED Talks, the 8-hour event attracted over 400 students and many members of the region's business and idea communities (including faculty members and entrepreneurs).

Isenberg's Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management (HTM) held its 39th Annual Career Day Fair in the Campus Center Auditorium on March 6th. Over 60 companies participated in the daylong career fair.
