Procedures for Changing Majors Within the University
* His/her cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) is 2.0, but a 2.7 or higher is preferred,
* He/she is not on academic or administrative probation, and
* He/she has earned a grade of C or better; a grade of B or better is preferred in three predictor courses:
HT-MGT 100 Introduction to Hospitality & Tourism,
Economics 103 or 104 (SB), and
Math 121 or higher or Statistics 111, 140 or Resource Economics 211 or 212
Deadlines for on-campus transfer applications are December 1 and May 1. To be admitted, interested students should fill out our Application for Admission.
It can be obtained from Derek Bratton, our Academic Advisor. He will generate the appropriate paperwork needed to officially change the student's major of record in the Registrar's Office.
