The HTM department provides students from other countries with an opportunity to study on the UMass campus for three weeks in summer. Students participate in seminars on current issues and other popular management topics, field trips to industry and tourist destinations, and hands-on experience lab activities. The program also provides two hours of training in English (speaking, writing, and presentation) with native speakers every day. Students enjoy not only learning more about contemporary management issues but also experience first hands the New England culture and hospitality during the program. A variety of exciting activities are available. Upon successful completion of the program, the student receives a certificate of completion. The program is customizable to a group of more 30 participants with the same interest.
