HTM Isenberg Summer Abroad 2014
You're invited to join us! Open to all HTM, Isenberg and UMass students
2014 Program Dates: May 13 (London)- May 30 (Verona, Italy)
We start in:
1. London from May 13- 16 for 4 days at The St. Giles Hotel, London
2. Paris from May 19-24 for 5 days at the Citadines Saint Germain des Pres
3. Verona, Italy from May 27-30 for 4 days at the Grande Hotel, Verona, Italy
Students have long weekends free to travel throughout Europe. You earn 6-9 HTM upper elective credits and for BBA majors these count as Isenberg School 300-level upper level business electives
The program is open to all students, HTM, Isenberg, non-Isenberg, undergraduate and graduate.

The program cost is $4,595.
This program cost includes:
Tuition and fees for 6.0 credits (2 courses), tuition and fees if you sign up for the third course option, Accommodation in London for 3 nights (one meal per day is included), Accommodation in Paris for 4 nights, Accommodation in Verona, Italy for 3 nights (1 meal per day is included), most field trips.
Field Trips included on the 2013 trip: Motor coach and tour guide of London, Meeting with Mr Andrew Byrne, General Manager at Thistle Kensington Gardens Hotel, Meeting with Mr Stuart Levy, National Account Director - Leisure Sales - Guoman & Thistle Hotels, at the London Cumberland Hotel, Meeting with Management at the Sofitel Paris Scribe, meeting with management at the Hotel Pullman Bercy Hotel, La Cuisine pastry class, O Chateau Wine Tasting, Seine River Cruise, Day Trip to Venice with guide, Verona vineyard and cellar tour, including wine tasting and a visit to a Romanic hamlet , wrap up dinner at Dinner at TRATTORIA CAPRINI. Please note that the 2014 field trips will be different and depend upon availability, exchange rates and cost.

Airfare, travel, meals (except those provided), funds to travel during the weekends, Personal Expenses
Classes Offered: All students will enroll in Ht-Mtg 391 T Seminar in Tour Operations Management and Ht-Mtg 391B Cultural Tourism, with the option of enrolling in a third course, HT-mtg 391 C, Critical Issues in Hospitality and Tourism. These courses are HTM upper electives for HTM majors, and they satisfy for BBA majors these count as Isenberg School 300-level upper level business electives. The specific courses are subject to change.
Rolling admission and acceptance, space is limited, $1,000 non-refundable deposit due after acceptance.
