Here are some tips for students just starting the interview process

When submitting resumes online, don't just paste in your fancily formatted Word doc version. It is likely to end up a mangled mess on the receiving end. Create a simplified version of your resume with no formatting (tabs, bullets, and the like) and no fancy fonts, and save it as a text (.txt) or rich text (.rtf) file. (You'll find these options at the bottom of the "Save As" window when saving a Word document.) This way, not only will your essential information be preserved, but it'll be clear and readable.

Interviews can be nerve-racking experiences, or they can be opportunities to let your talents and ambitions shine. Being prepared can make a huge difference in both how your interviews go and how you feel about them when they’re over.
