The University of Massachusetts Amherst, Isenberg School of Management, Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) responds to the ever changing and demanding needs of the hospitality industry by developing the talents of our students to become exceptional management professionals.

Our program, formerly Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Administration (HRTA) has been ranked as one of the top Hospitality and Tourism Management Programs in the nation--one of the oldest in the country.

We offer opportunities for Master of Science Degrees, a Bachelor of Science Degree and an Online Bachelor of Science degree and Certificate Programs for distance learners.

Graduates of the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management are in demand by hospitality and tourism companies and organizations around the country and the world.

Experience based requirements of the program are key to the success of HTM students. Guest lectures with presentations by leaders and professionals in the industry, work requirements, career events planned by students and hands on course labs make the HTM Program a dynamic academic experience.

International study and exchange opportunities are available to undergraduate students interested in expanding their educational experiences abroad.
