With Dean Schroeder. Ideas Are Free: How the Idea Revolution Is Liberating People and Transforming Organizations, Berrett-Koehler, 2004. This book received many positive reviews in publications, named Reader’s Choice by Fast Company and a finalist for France’s HR Manpower prize.
With Isaac Getz of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Paris Vos Idées Changent Tout, Editions d’Organization, 2002. Published in German by Hanser as Innovation-POWER in 2003.
Corporate Creativity: How Innovation and Improvement Actually Happen (co-authored with Sam Stern), Berrett-Koehler, 1998. The book was a finalist for the 1998 Financial Times/Booz Allen & Hamilton Global Best Business Book Award, and was named “Book of the Year” by the Academy of Human Resource Management.
Consulting Activities:
Dr. Robinson has served on the Board of Examiners of the United States’ Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, and has worked with more than a hundred and twenty organizations in eleven countries on how to improve their performance. Some of these include: The Federal Reserve Bank, Lucent Technologies, Labatt, Alcan, Volkswagen, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Standard and Poors, Blue Shield of California, Medtronics, Northrop-Grumman, Heineken, Bemis, Fanuc (the Japanese robotics company), Nippon Sangyo Kunren Kyokai (Japan Industrial Training Association), The Applied Physics Laboratory, Toyota, Leninetz (the Russian conglomerate), UBS, Bose, CSX Corporation, and Makepeace (the second largest cranberry producer in the world).
