Academic/Professional Activities:

Dr. Solak's academic and professional activities involve projects for NASA, FAA and the Department of Transportation, as well as consulting activities for the industry. He is a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), Airline Group of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (AGIFORS), American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and the Institute of Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS), where he serves as an officer in the Aviation Applications Section.
