The UMass MinutePitch is a new event hosted by the UMass Innovation Challenge. It is specifically designed to provide a first step for students thinking about a novel business idea, and who are looking for feedback, teammates and mentors. Participation in the UMass MinutePitch is not required in order to compete in other Innovation Challenge contests. That said the experience will be invaluable if you choose to fine-tune your idea and enter the Executive Summary and Elevator Pitch Competition this Fall 2012.
The UMass cosponsors of the Innovation Challenge are College of Engineering, the College of Natural Sciences, the Isenberg School of Management and the UMass Innovation Institute. Financial support from Eugene M and Ronnie Isenberg, Wolf Greenfield; Saint-Gobain; Cantor Colburn LLP; CISCO; Raytheon; SciDose; Vistagy; Stephen Dunne '89; Provenance Venture Partners; Michael Tunstall '82, and Karen Lauter Utgoff Consulting is gratefully acknowledged.
