Bio

Kim Sherman is a Ph.D. student in Management with a concentration in Organization Studies in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Kim received her BA in Human Resources from the University of Massachusetts. After graduation she spent a number of years working in industry in various human resource positions. Her last job was working for International Business Machines (IBM) for 7 years where she was a Human Resource Manager in their Services division. Kim left IBM and NYC to join the Ph.D. program in 2005.

Current Research Interests

Kim’s current research interests include race, gender and culture in organizations, human resource strategy, and organizational culture.
