Email: snair@som.umass.edu
Sudhir joined the Doctoral Program in Strategic Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Fall 2006. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1990 from Wichita State University and subsequently earned his MBA from Case Western Reserve University in 1992. He has had experience in the corporate world (Citibank) as well as in entrepreneurial entities that he founded. Sudhir's research interests are in the areas of strategic management / international management. His long term interests are in the area of service firms; on which he is working with his advisor, Professor Bruce Skaggs. Sudhir's dissertation plans to examine the relationship between firms and the Professional Service Firms (PSFs) they hire. It is not completely clear that we understand why firms hire PSFs; how PSFs co-create knowledge with their clients; and what value they add. He proposes to study PSFs from a client perspective and examine their value to the firm.
