Many employers seek out opportunities to meet with students in a variety of venues. One of the most popular places for employers to meet with students is the Atrium of the Harold Alfond Management Center. The following events are scheduled for the Fall 2007 semester:

CAREER FAIRS at the Isenberg School of Management and the University of Massachusetts

SKILLS WORKSHOPS

A variety of job skills workshops are offered each semester by the Chase Career Center staff. All students are invited to attend any of these sessions. MBAs are welcome but need to understand that the information is geared to undergraduates. All students are encouraged to meet individually with Richard Fein or Kim Figueroa after attending any skills workshops.

  • Resume Writing: The single hardest part of a job search is getting into the interview room. Does your resume demonstrate why you are the best match for the job? Does it open doors? Come learn how to write a great resume with the guidance of seasoned professionals in the Chase Career Center.

  • Interview Preparation: Who wins the job offer at the interview? Being smart and confident. Are you also the best match for the job? Attend this workshop and learn how to demonstrate why you are the best candidate for the position. We’ll teach you about the questions you’ll be asked and what you should ask (or not). RESUME REVIEW & INTERVIEW PRACTICE NIGHTS

With the help of our friends in the corporate recruiting community, the Chase Career Center sponsors Resume Review and Interview Practice Nights early each semester. Isenberg students have the opportunity to meet with visiting recruiters on a one-to-one, no-risk basis. Feedback from these recruiting professionals can be invaluable.

Take advantage of this great opportunity. You will need to sign up for an individual appointment. Follow the process outlined in a Chase Career Center email about this subject or stop by the Chase Career Center and pick up a Sign Up Guide.
