ExCEL for Students


ExCEL, (Exploring Careers through Experiential Learning) is a two semester personalized and structured program for sophomore Isenberg students designed to engage participants in career exploration and professional etiquette development. 

Q: Who is eligible to participate in ExCEL? How do I get involved?
A: All sophomore students in the Isenberg School are eligible. Students will be accepted based on availability of employers within your field of interest.

Q: Why should I participate in ExCEL?
A: To become better prepared for your internship and full time job search.

ExCEL will:
• Help you identify your career interests, skills and aptitudes
• Introduce you to career research techniques and guide you in making informed choices about externship, internship and ultimately, full time career opportunities
• Increase your confidence in networking and interview skills
• Guide you through effective resume and cover letter development
• Provide an introduction to employer environments through ExCEL company experiences
