Welcome to the MBA Career Management Office

MBA Career Management plays an essential role in a student’s Isenberg MBA experience. Located in the Isenberg School’s Chase Career Center, the MBA Career Management Office is committed to helping both full-time and part-time MBA students in identifying their career aspirations and providing resources that can help them achieve their goals.

Resources

The Chase Career Center offers a wide range of services designed to help MBA students with their job and internship search. These include:

  • Professional Seminar in Career Management
The MBA program offers this mandatory course in career management to full-time MBA students, designed to help students with career planning and placement. This course takes advantage of alumni panels, professional seminars and networking events to complement classroom instruction. Professional MBA students are able to take this course as a 1 or 2 credit elective.
  • Personalized Career Counseling
One-on-one career counseling helps target specific strategies customized for individual job searches. Individual interviews can be scheduled with the Chase Career Center Staff.
  • Campus Recruitment
As part of the recruitment process, several company representatives come to the Amherst campus to interview and hire MBA students for full-time and summer intern positions. These positions are advertised on eRecruiting.
  • Career Fairs
Please visit the MBA Career Fairs site for a list-by-date of career fairs in the Boston area and beyond. The Isenberg School of Management also holds a career fair for undergraduates and MBA students in the Fall semester.

Over 260 top business schools and corporations use CareerLeader worldwide to help guide their students' and employees' careers.
