Professor Oh Honored for Outstanding Research

Oh, professor and head of Isenberg's Department
of Hospitality &Tourism Management, is the 2013 recipient of the John
Wiley & Sons Lifetime Research Achievement Award. The honor recognizes long-term,
outstanding scholarship and research by an international member of CHRIE, The Council on Hotel, Restaurant,
and Institutional Education. Professor Oh, who received his award in July at
CHRIE's annual summer conference in St. Louis, does marketing research that explores the hotel and tourism industry. His research examines consumer value judgment,
experiential consumption, branding and image formation, and other topics.
According to CHRIE, "Many of his articles have won best paper, best journal
article, and memorial research awards over the years. And his works are
frequently cited by others and widely used for graduate education."
