Isenberg Students Prominent at National Club Managers Conference
February 13, 2013
Nineteen students from Isenberg's Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management (HTM) attended the Club Managers Association of America's (CMAA) World Conference & Club Business Expo on February 6-11 in San Diego. At the event, students networked with industry professionals and attended workshops, seminars, and other educational sessions. Isenberg students received offers for entry level employment, internships, and seasonal positions. Rebecca Wyskiel, an HTM senior, was also honored with a prestigious CMAA Joe Perdue National Scholarship.
Club Management is one of four undergraduate concentrations in Isenberg's HTM program. Isenberg's CMAA student chapter is one of New England's largest and most active. The Isenberg chapter's faculty advisor is Rodney Warnick. Students attended the conference with support from their chapter, the HTM department, the New England Club Managers Association, and the David Meador Scholarship Fund.
