Business Intelligence Practitioners Share Best Practices with Isenberg Operations & Information Management Majors

Three Isenberg alumni from Bose Corporation's Business Intelligence Group shared business and career insights with Isenberg students in Business Intelligence & Analytics, an undergraduate course taught by Traci Hess, an associate professor in Isenberg's Department of Operations & Information Management. Julie Greenway '99, Ashok Abraham '03, Jeff Steeves '11 examined how their group does forecasting and provides integrated warehousing in support of demand planning and other business activities at Bose. In addition, the executives, who also visited an Isenberg MBA seminar, explored career options in the business intelligence field.

 

"We are further reassured about the education we provide our OIM majors when our recent OIM graduates come back to share their experiences in industry," emphasized OIM department chair Iqbal Agha. Bose, based in Framingham, manufactures audio equipment, automotive systems, test instruments, and other technology-based products.
