Decaying infrastructure and climate change are growing threats to transportation networks.

In a recent op-ed piece in the Daily Hampshire Gazette, UMass Amherst Isenberg School operations management professor Anna Nagurney advocates interdisciplinary network modeling and analysis to identify and remedy the most vulnerable stress points in transportation networks.
