Maryteresa Crealese '86:

A licensed certified public accountant in MA, NY, RI, and VT, Mary joined KPMG in 2002 as a Senior Manager and was admitted to the Partnership in 2066.  She has over 25 years' experience in the financial services industry with recent experience with initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions.  Mary provides services to banks, hedge funds, investment partnerships, venture capital partnerships, insurance companies, and other financial services firms. 

 

Mary frequently represents KPMG in recruiting Isenberg students for internships and post-graduation employment.  She has advised or mentored many Isenberg graduates at her firm.  The Isenberg alumna is a National Instructor in KPMG's internal training program and currently serves as a member of the Training and Methodology Team for the firm.  She was one of the co-founders of the KPMG Network of Women, a multicultural group that fosters recognition and celebrates the contributions and successes of women, increases networking opportunities, creates mentoring relationships, furthers professional development and career advancement opportunities, and helps support and enrich the experience of all KPMG women.  She currently serves as a co-leader for KPMG's Boston Office Diversity Council.

 

Mary serves on the Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, and was co-chair of the Leading Women's Award Celebration.  Mary has also served on the Advisory Board for the Town of Bridgewater and on its School Building Committee.  She is a frequent fundraiser for Homes For Our Troops, which builds specially adapted homes for severely injured veterans, raising more than $20,000 in the last three years.  She has been married for almost 21 years to Charles Crealese.  They have two children, Kathryn and Patrick, ages 18 and 14.
