Can I get courses waived or transfer courses from other colleges or institutions?
All of the required courses must be taken through the University of Massachusetts Amherst online, so waivers and transfers are not available.
Can full-time students in Hospitality and Tourism Management at UMass Amherst apply for one of the certificate programs?
Students who are matriculated in HTM at UMass are not eligible for the certificate programs. This applies to students in other Isenberg majors as well. In other words, you cannot use the courses you used to satisfy requirements for an Isenberg undergraduate degree to obtain an online certificate.
Can my courses be used to toward an Isenberg online degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management?
Yes. The certificate courses you take can be applied toward a bachelor's degree in HTM, if you decide to enroll in the Isenberg's online degree completion program. The certificate programs are a good way to determine if you want to continue your studies to get an online bachelor's degree.
I've completed my courses to earn a certificate. Is there a form to fill out?
Yes. Once you've completed the course requirements for your certificate program, submit a Certificate Completion Form.

You need to activate your Student OIT Account to get access to SPIRE, UMail, and Online library resources.
